El Dr. JM Gil-Vernet Sedó has been a pioneer in prostate saturation biopsy, transperineal or transrectal guided echography, under sedation in Spain. He´s also a pioneer in intraprostatic ethanol injection for non invasive benign prostate hyperplasia and in the use of high energy focal ultrasound (HIFU) for non-invasive prostate cancer.
